Their followers, by contrast, often prefer a decidedly less confrontational form. They want to rely on their Jesus Auras to win them conversions! Today I’ll show you what that other type of evangelism is, why it’s so popular, and how it fails.

The Comfort of the Failed Sales Pitch.

There’s always a reason, in religion, for the stuff we see religious people doing. It might not be a great reason, no, but there’s always one there somewhere. Sometimes there are even several. Nowhere is that rule more in evidence than when we consider how terrible Christians are at selling their religion to others.

Why People Don’t Like Christians, According to a Christian (Real or Not Real Edition).

Located on a site called Bible Reasons and called “25 Reasons Why The World Hates Christians And Christianity,” his screed didn’t exactly inspire me to trust its level of accuracy. Christians don’t tend to have a very firm grasp about how non-Christians see them and their religion. But it did provide some insight about just where right-wing Christians in particular are deceiving themselves.
